Surviving the first 30 days in my new product role

We often hear that product management is about building relationships. We (product managers) spend the majority of our time dealing with people. To build a rapport with the new team and customers, the first step is to listen. Interviews with customers for product discovery, meetings with the marketing team or even shadowing my manager in third party vendor calls have taught me a fundamental lesson-listen. Active listening is the first step for good communication and to forge deep connections with the customers.

Time management:

Experienced product managers know how to manage time and prioritize their work. However, folks new to product management could find some difficulties with it.
